Guilds Forever
Meet the guild before you join.
Intro chats give players and guild officers a private, asynchronous way to talk through expectations before the next step.
- ApplySend the application you already send. A guild can invite you after reviewing it.
- Talk it throughThe guild opens with a few conversation starters. Reply to the ones you like, ask the guild your own questions, and take your time. You do not need to be online together.
- Choose the next stepBoth sides privately say Continue, Need more information or Not a fit. When you both say Continue, the guild accepts you from the application and you are welcomed in.
Conversation starters, not a questionnaire
The officer picks a few starters from a small library about people, community, time and what you want to do together. None of them is required; you answer the ones that interest you and can ask the guild anything back.
- What drew you to the game, and what are you looking forward to?
- What makes a guild feel like a place you want to stay?
- Is your gaming time fairly predictable, or does it change week to week?
- What are you most looking forward to doing with a group?
Ask the guild back: what members are doing together during the beta, how new members usually get involved, whether it is fine to join socially first.
Private by design
- Only the applicant and the current guild-side participant can read the conversation.
- The conversation is persistent, so nobody has to wait for a shared interview slot.
- Discord and BattleTag are optional and shared only when both of you choose to.
- Guilds Forever will never ask for your password or authenticator code.
- Intro chats support voice interviews and trials; they do not replace them.
Questions?
Does this change applying?
No. Applying stays lightweight. A guild may invite you after it has reviewed your application, and you can join, skip or withdraw.
Is it a live interview?
No. It is an async conversation with a plain-text thread. Continue to voice or a trial only when both sides are ready.
What keeps it safe?
The same community safety rules apply as everywhere else on Guilds Forever.
