About the guild
Decent Chill Adults who Want to Find Groups
Years ago I ran a Group Finder Discord for Sea of Thieves. One night I opened it up and saw four separate crews out sailing, every one of them made up of people who'd met through that server. People who never would have met otherwise, out doing the thing together because of a place I built for them to find each other.

That's still the best feeling I've ever gotten out of a video game: watching something I made turn into friendships between other people.
So when WoW Forever was announced and I knew I was going all-in, it was time to build that again.
Then there's the other reason...
I was in the chat of a big retail guild I was in when one guy asked another to craft him something. The crafter said sure, and offered to do it for free, just being decent. The first guy's reply was an obscene, graphic "joke" about what he'd do for the crafter in return. Nobody said a thing. That was just the culture there.
That's a big part of why I started a guild instead of joining one. I wanted a place where that doesn't fly, and the only way to make sure a chat stays that way is to be the one running it.
Part of that is my faith. I'm a Christian. You don't need to share my beliefs to belong here, and I doubt I'm the only one who wants a chat like this either way.
What I want is simple: people who met here, grouping up, checking in, and actually looking forward to seeing each other. If that's your kind of guild, you're in the right place.

- MS > OS“The loot rules are designed to help participants with individual progression over team progression. If all the individuals in the team progress, eventually the team will also.” “Simple on purpose: rolls, not a council. If you’re in the raid for the kill, you’ve got a shot, whether you’re a regular or subbing in for the night.” “How it works” “→ An officer runs master loot, and every roll is a /roll in raid chat, so everyone sees the numbers. No one can click Need on something and walk off with it.” “→ You have to be in the raid for the kill.” “→ Your main spec is what you raid as. Changing it is fine; just tell an officer before raid night, not mid-loot.” “What you can win each raid night” “One win per category per night, so winning in one doesn’t cost you a shot at another.” “→ Main-spec gear: if it’s an upgrade for the spec you raid as, /roll 100.” “→ Off-spec gear: only if no one needs it for main spec.” “→ Materials and tradeable drops: open roll for everyone in the raid. Use it or sell it; it’s yo”

- We take a hybrid approach between "Hardcore" elements and "Casual" elements. Within the event - play like a Hardcore player (doing your best, coming prepared). Outside the event - we understand real life happens and will adjust when you're out. Raids: The plan is 4 raid teams of 10 at a time (a Raid Group) built around specific time slots. Each team runs 10-man content on its own, teams pair up for 20-mans, and all 4 come together for 40-mans. That way you've got a group that actually knows you, and we've still got the people to take on everything from 10-man to 40-man content. We'll grow into it - it starts with one team. The first Raid Group is being constructed around the Sunday/Monday from 7 - 10 PM ET time slot. Future raid groups will be built around time slots TBD (based on member availability). Not on a team? Subbing in when someone's out is a real spot, and you roll on loot like anyone else. Also our next raid group may have a schedule that better suits you. Missing a raid here and there won't cost you your spot - just give a heads-up. The flip side is that when you're signed up, people are counting on you. Be on time, bring your consumables, and know the fights. PvP: Organized nights on other evenings. We'll plan strats, look at what went wrong, and keep refining until we win consistently. There'll be pickup games outside of that too. PvP Teams will be built like Raid Teams, starting with a PvP group around a particular time slot before moving on to subsequent PvP groups. Loot: Rolls, set up to spread around. Details are in loot. Raids and PvP nights start once enough of us hit 60. I've got a job and a family, and I'm not treating this like a second job. I'm guessing you aren't either. If that sounds like your kind of guild, glad you're here.
