Washed Up

We're a group of late 20s/early-30s players putting together a new guild after spending years not being entirely happy with the guilds we were in. Our tolerance for drama, toxicity and ratty, impatient people is at 0. So we're creating the Guild we want to be a part of for what essentially is our dream game. This doesn't mean the guild is a sterilised HR department either, we take the piss and have a darker sense of humour at times, at the end of the day we're just normal guys. Although don't confuse 'taking the piss' as people getting singled out and hounded for making mistakes, that will not be the case or tolerated.

Who's it for?

You're chill, you're patient, you communicate and you're willing to learn with everyone. At the end of the day, that's what actually matters to us the most. We have all the room in the world for people like this, regardless of inital skill or experience. Again, we have no tolerance for any toxicity or childish drama of any sorts, we simply can't be arsed with dealing with it.

Regarding Levelling:

There is no rush, take as long as you need. No one will be on your arse telling you to hurry up. But if you are someone who has a lot time to play on release, a few of us will also be playing quite a lot for the first 1-2 weeks.

New or haven't raided much?

That's completely fine, we'll get you up to speed and confident in a raid/dungeon environment (that's a promise). You'll get help if you need it and you won't be flamed for making mistakes. I've had plenty of experience helping inexperienced friends git gud.

More experienced?

You can expect a raid environment where the goal is to be as efficient as we can with our clears without us micromanaging our Guildies (We will not tell you what to play, what professions to choose or make you play alts). But while me and a few others are experienced, some others are not and they won't be excluded from raiding while they are learning and improving. So that is something for you to consider on wether the guild is a fit for you or not.

Guild culture:

No toxic bullshit.

No class discrimination.

No mandatory alts.

Fair loot distribution.

You won't lose your raid spot because you missed a night or two.

You also won't be kicked for taking an extended break.

We just want to play the game with decent people who like to put in a bit of effort into gearing and raiding.

As it's not that serious, but we will be expecting everyone to have respect for each other's time and put a bit of effort into their characters, a relaxed atmosphere doesn't mean a less considerate one.

A little more about us:

We're a mixed bag, some of us are very experienced, while others are new. The reason this Guild was born was because our experienced members simply couldn't be fucked with the environment that comes with higher-end Guilds anymore. We want to have fun chasing gear and coming to raid prepared. But the goal is to create a raid environment that doesn't push people to burnout. I have personally led raids for plenty of pug setups over the years for Mythic/HC raids in retail, I've played competitively in the past and led in those situations too. I like to make sure people are comfortable and confident, no one likes a raid leader who gets depressed after a few wipes.

The practical stuff:

Raid nights/times: Still being worked out, more than likely it'll be a weekday evening.
