About Stroodle

About Me – Stroodle | 20+ Year WoW Veteran I'm 41 years old and have played World of Warcraft on and off since its original launch in 2004. During Classic and TBC Classic, I helped lead a guild that supported two full 40-man raid teams and cleared all available raid content. My last major accomplishment in retail WoW was earning Ahead of the Curve (AotC) after our guild defeated The Jailer in Shadowlands, after which I stepped away from the game. Now, I'm returning to Azeroth through WoW Forever, hoping to rediscover the nostalgia, friendships, and sense of community that made this game special for so many years. What I'm Looking For I'm looking for a mature, friendly guild filled with players who value community, nostalgia, and enjoying the game together. Ideally, people in a similar stage of life who balance careers, families, and responsibilities but still enjoy escaping into Azeroth. I'm not interested in real-world politics, social justice debates, or divisive topics in guild chat. I simply want a welcoming environment where we can leave everyday stresses behind, share stories from 20 years of WoW, and make new memories. My Plans Going Forward I'm currently deciding between joining an established guild that shares these values or building a community of my own through streaming, content creation, and potentially leading another guild. Having helped lead a large and successful guild before, I understand both the rewards and responsibilities that come with leadership. While I still enjoy raiding, dungeons, PvP, and progression, my priorities today are different. I'm more interested in the people, the adventures, and creating a community that players genuinely enjoy being part of. Whether I find that community or help build it myself, my goal is simple: bring together people who love World of Warcraft, appreciate its history, and want to create another 20 years of memories. Azeroth is always better when experienced together.
