Backstory Name: Dilly MacDill Race: Human Class: Priest Faction: Alliance Homeland: Elwynn Forest, Kingdom of Stormwind Faith: The Holy Light Occupation: Traveling healer, humble chronicler, and servant of the Alliance Personal Motto: "I do not carry the Light because I am worthy. I carry it because others are in need." The Beginning Dilly MacDill was not born into nobility, nor was he raised among the great champions whose names fill the histories of Azeroth. He was the son of a simple farmer from Elwynn Forest. He spent his childhood tending fields, repairing fences, and listening to travelers recount tales of distant kingdoms, terrible wars, and brave defenders of the Alliance. His father taught him the value of honest work. His mother taught him that kindness was a strength, not a weakness. Neither taught him how to wield a sword. When hardship struck his village, Dilly discovered he had a modest connection to the Holy Light. His prayers eased suffering, his hands warmed the wounded, and his presence comforted those who had lost hope. Recognizing his calling, he traveled to Stormwind, where he sought instruction among the priests of the Cathedral of Light. He was never the most gifted student. His prayers occasionally faltered, his understanding of scripture was imperfect, and he often questioned whether he was worthy of the Light's blessings. But he never refused someone in need. As reports of conflict and suffering reached Stormwind, Dilly made a quiet decision. He would leave the safety of the Cathedral and travel throughout Azeroth, offering healing to the wounded, comfort to the frightened, and his service to those defending the Alliance. He purchased a simple leather-bound journal with what little coin he possessed. He hoped that one day its pages might tell the story of ordinary people who stood for the Light.
