Our plans for Forever

What we ask: 🏳️‍🌈 We take inclusivity seriously. Everyone is welcome, but intolerance will not be tolerated.🙅 This community is intended to be welcoming to a diverse range of folks. Bigotry, racism, misogyny, sexism, or ableism is not accepted, and anyone who represents or supports intolerance will be removed from this community.📣 1️⃣ Put people first. Inclusivity means seeing each other as humans, with implicit dignity and worth. 2️⃣ Celebrate each other's differences. Diversity means recognizing our individuality, appreciating our dissimilarities, and finding commonality in our humanity. 3️⃣ Be accountable for our words and actions. Perfection is a fallacy, we all make mistakes and bad choices but owning up to our words and actions is how we change and grow. 4️⃣ Prioritize play. This space is centered around love, joy, fun, and silliness. The intention of this community is to find respite in playing games together. 5️⃣ Play fair. Exploits, hacks, and cheating ruin the game for everyone; this community agrees to not condone or participate in these behaviors. 6️⃣ Try our best. Competition is intrinsic to games, that doesn't mean deifying winning, but it does mean putting in effort even when winning doesn't seem possible. 7️⃣ Respect each other's time. Real life takes priority over games, but participating in certain activities means creating a web of reliance on each other; we show respect by communicating when something comes up and appreciating the impact on our community when we can't show up. 8️⃣ Communicate with openness and compassion. Being vulnerable with our words and being kind in the midst of disagreement is critical to engaging in repair and coordinating together. 9️⃣ Expect the best of each other and ourselves. This community gives the benefit of the doubt over critical scorn; instead of "punching down" on mistakes, we strive to express grace and understanding.
