About the guild
Who we are
If you still have that hardcore mindset but can’t commit to a hardcore schedule, we want you!
Our goal is to be the best 2-day raid guild on a four-hour schedule. We’re building a roster of retired sweats and dad gamers who still want to compete on the bleeding edge of content. Players who love the game, take pride in playing well, and want to play with others who put in the same effort they do to make raids efficient and fun.
What we expect
- We like to have fun and keep comms pretty loose, with plenty of banter and people you look forward to playing with. Having fun is a priority, but knowing when to lock in is essential to succeed.
- We’re huge on personal accountability. We own our mistakes, take feedback, and help each other improve. We want guildmates working together on gearing, assignments, and optimizations, as the whole raid benefits when we help make each other better.
- That said, we do not tolerate belittling, berating, or aggression, and we will act decisively if it arises.
- With a limited raid schedule, we expect players to understand the importance of preparation. We expect you to be on time for the raid, fully stocked with consumables, have researched the fights, and be ready to do your best for the 9-39 other people you raid with.
- We are a guild built on mutual respect for each other's skill and time.
Loot rules · Loot council
- We use a loot council system that encourages players to self-organize their loot priorities. We want to help you get the gear that matters most to you, but loot is a reward that strengthens the guild, not a handout for showing up and doing the bare minimum. It goes to players who meet or exceed expectations in performance, preparation, attendance, and contributions.
- Officers and core raiders carry equal priority, followed by members, then trials slightly below. Everyone, including trials, is eligible for loot.
- Trials in Plus Sized last 2 weeks, during which we give feedback and assess how you apply it. At the end, we’ll either promote you to member, extend your trial by 1 week with clear targets, or give final feedback before parting ways.
- Once you’re a member, you can earn a Raider promotion by completing a full tier of progression with the guild, and we’ll check in regularly on where you stand and what growth we’d like to see.
