About the guild
Who we are
Shattered Remnants is a Horde company forged in the wreckage of war. Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Forsaken, Skyborne Elves, and other survivors stand together beneath a battered banner, bound by hard-won loyalty and the will to endure. The road is bloodied, the fallen are remembered, and no one is left to face the darkness alone.
When the banners fall, we remain.
What we expect
- The world is cruel. The road is unforgiving. And the dead rarely wait for you to finish typing.
- By joining Shattered Remnants, you swear to uphold these standards—not because an officer demands it, but because the survival of the Horde may one day depend on them.
- Honor your fellow guildmates. We may quarrel, compete, and disagree—but we do not abandon our own to spite, cruelty, or petty grudges. A fractured company is an easy company to bury.
- Respect the roleplay. When the scene is underway, treat it as real. Keep out-of-character chatter clear and considerate, and never seize control of another character’s story without permission. Their choices are theirs—even at the edge of the blade.
- Keep your word. If you commit to an event, arrive prepared—or send word if fate has other plans. Silence leaves your comrades wondering whether to wait for you… or carve your name into stone.
- No one fights alone. Welcome newcomers. Offer help when you can. Make room for every member to contribute. Even the smallest spark can keep the whole company from freezing in the dark.
- Let conflict serve the story. Rivalries, arguments, and dramatic betrayals can make for powerful roleplay—but player respect comes first. If the tale stops being fun, step out of character and speak plainly.
- Keep the guild’s secrets. Do not share private conversations or personal information without consent. Trust is harder to rebuild than any fortress.
- Remember that real life comes first. No battle in Azeroth is worth sacrificing your well-being. Your comrades can hold the line until you return.
- We are remnants, not because we were spared—but because we endured.
- Stand with the guild. Guard the story. And when the horns sound, answer if you can.
Loot rules · MS > OS
- When the battle ends, the fallen leave more than memories. They leave spoils—and spoils can divide a company faster than any enemy. Follow these rules, and no blade need be drawn over a piece of gear.
- In raids: Master Loot. The appointed master looter oversees all raid loot and distributes it according to the group’s agreed rules. Make your claim plainly and respectfully; the final call rests with the master looter.
- Outside raids: Need Before Greed. Choose Need only if the item is a genuine upgrade or otherwise useful to your character. If you don’t need it, choose Greed. Do not claim gear just to sell or disenchant it while another adventurer can use it.
- Unneeded spoils: Disenchant. If no one needs an item, it is to be disenchanted rather than left to rot in a pack. Any materials can then be handled according to the group’s agreement.
- Claim what you need. Pass when you do not. Let no quarrel over spoils weaken the company that survived to claim them.
